The Grama car is produced by the Portuguese luxury automakers – Tolos. This eco friendly, electric vehicle is powered by hydrogen and has solved the problem of fueling stations: its carries its fueling station on its roof. The Grama car combines a sleek design with an ingenious fueling solution: the green roof, which turns water into hydrogen.
How Does the Green Roof Work?
The green roof was developed with the help of German company KHIAV. This system consists of a green roof with a filtering membrane system, that collects rainwater and moisture from the air, and turns it into hydrogen, powering the car. Also, the roof can be used to grow herbs! A green car all the way!
Besides the fact that is has a green roof, the Grama car has additional environmentally friendly components. Solar panels on the bottom are used to collect the sunlight reflecting off the highway and to generate energy. Wind turbines powered by the air conditioner are used to generate extra energy for the light indicator on the dashboard. The Grama car is a great example of using all available technologies in order to create performance in an environmentally friendly manner.
Grama Car’s Speed
This fully electric vehicle is capable of going from 0 to 60 miles in 5 seconds! Fueled solely by hydrogen, this eco vehicle can function for about 60 miles on a single tank.
While some manufacturers try to use these eco friendly technologies separately, the Portuguese managed to create a unique car, which encompasses all available technology in order to attain performance while also ensuring that the damage done to the Earth is minimal. What do you think about this eco vehicle? Would you drive a Grama car with its green roof?
