Even if its name says it all, this incredible lake maintains temperatures between 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit. Until now, not a person managed to measure the temperature in the center of the lake, where the water is actually boiling.
3. Karachay Lake

Rumors are saying that during a secret government project, Karachay Lake was used as a dumping ground for radioactive waste, starting with 1951. This place is so toxic that a one hour visit can be lethal for a human. To be mentioned that in 1961, wind carried toxic dust that irradiated over 300.000 people. This tragedy was compared with the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
