The BRB Evolution looks like a copy one from the Transformers series, resembling those sports cars that transform into robots. Its designer, 22-year-old British Daniel Bailey, explained that his intentions were to combine the Lamborghini Murcielago with Peugeot 908.
Acknowledging the world’s first problems as being pollution and overpopulation, Bailey knows that green and space is the new trend out there. That’s why he designed the BRB Evolution, an eco sports car powered by electricity and a hydrogen fuel cell. But is this all? Of course, not!
BRB Evolution folds itself remarkably when parking in tight areas. Here’s how its folding system works: two rollers would come from the bottom, roll the car up, turn and slide the car sideways into the space. Of course, the driver must not sit in the car during the process, otherwise he might get injured. That’s why the BRB Evolution is automatically set on autopilot while parking in its folding mode. Will it come back out by itself? With a remote yes. The vehicle’s shape is breathtaking. It really makes you want to drive it on fast lanes day in and day out.
The BRB Evolution was first shown to a larger crowd at the 2008 Peugeot Design Contest, a contest where anyone above the age of 14 who has designed their own concept vehicle can participate. Unfortunately, Peugeot didn’t show interests in Bailey’s design, as they have their own green projects to look out for. Maybe another company will pay big money to make the BRB Evolution a reality. Would you buy the BRB Evolution?
