The Favourite Holiday Destinations of the Rich and Famous

We all love to channel our inner celebrities – so why not make like a superstar this summer at one of these top global destinations?

We all love to stay on top of the latest celebrity news, wear the clothes flaunted by the rich and famous, and head to the elite’s favourite clubs and restaurants. It’s only natural, then, that many of us want to do a little celebrity-spotting on holiday as well. After all, celebrities jet away on summer breaks just like the rest of us. Here are the best places to holiday like a member of the A-list – and if you’re lucky, you may even see them out and about!

Hawaii

Hawaii is heaven on Earth for many travellers. Gorgeous sandy beaches, clear turquoise seas and a really relaxed way of life. It’s no wonder then that Beyonce herself chose the island for her summer break. She posted numerous pictures of her trip on social media, and gave us all some serious holiday envy. If you want to live like (musical) royalty, head to the Turtle Bay Resort. With a spa, golf course and its own bustling market, this coastal hotel really does have it all.

The South of France

The South of France has long been a magnet for the rich and famous. Just recently, the cast of Fifty Shades Darker were filming in the area, and the film’s two stars, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, were spotted sunbathing on a well-earned day off. So what makes this part of France so special? Well, it’s blessed with a balmy Mediterranean climate and of course, world famous beaches. The vineyards are pretty impressive too – especially if you want to let your hair down during your trip! Book yourself into the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat for an experience worthy of any superstar.

Where To See Celebrities This Summer

The Maldives

The Maldives are a real celebrity magnet. Just last November James Bond star Naomie Harris, singer Nicole Scherzinger and supermodel Jodie Kidd were all pictured here for a star-studded party. It’s attracted famous families like the Beckhams too. So what makes the stars flock to these tiny Indian Ocean islands? There’s the stunning scenery, obviously. It’s also a diving hotspot, and you can swim with sharks and discover awe-inspiring underwater reefs. For somewhere to stay, look no further than the breathtaking Soneva Fushi Resort.

St. Barts

If you’re a secret Kardashian fan (don’t worry, you’re not alone) then you should book yourself a ticket to St. Barts this summer. Kendall, Kim and the rest of the gang have been spotted on the beach here topping up their tans, and their visit was even featured on their hit TV show. So if you want to holiday like the most famous family on the planet, what should you do while you’re here? Well, sunbathing aside, take part in some water sports like jet skiing and paddle boarding. Eden Rock is one of the most famous hotels on the island, and you’ll feel like a superstar as soon as you step through the door.

London

Of course, if you wish to spot some celebs, London is a hotspot for celebrity spotting. Head to one of London’s best nightclubs for a tropical themed party and you will probably bump into a celebrity or two!
