Remember S-Club Juniors?

For people of a certain age, S-Club 7 was one of the defining acts of a generation. Along with the Spice Girls and Steps, they were part of a group of British pop stars in the late 1990s and early 00s who gained worldwide fame and success.

S-Club was so successful that it spawned a successful spin-off act, S-Club Juniors (later known as S-Club 8) – and talent agency MN2S is lucky enough to have one member on their books. Formed following a CBBC talent show search, the band was made up of Frankie Sandford, Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, and Rochelle Wiseman. When it was formed, each member was in their early teens or even younger, and the group spent several successful years in the spotlight before disbanding in 2004.

As well as releasing singles and albums, the band took part in a second CBBC show – this time called I Dream. It was set in the fictional Avalon Heights summer school for performing arts and had scripted storylines, rather than the reality-TV format of their previous television appearances.

Though always less famous than their namesakes, S-Club Juniors were nonetheless a big hit during their heyday – beginning with an appearance on Children In Need 2001. After a few years in the limelight, the still young singers took a step back for a few years, but where are they now?

Frankie Sandford (now Bridges) is now better known as a member of the girl band The Saturdays, which she joined in 2007. Rochelle Wiseman (now Humes) was also a member of The Saturdays, and in 2012 she married fellow popstar Marvin Humes, of the band JLS.

Top of the pops at MN2S top talent agency London is Aaron Renfree, who is available to book for appearances, endorsements and more through the top talent agency. After his stint with S-Club 7, Aaron went on to graduate from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts school.

He’s never been short of work, with jobs as a performer and choreographer working for prestigious shows such as The X Factor and teaming up with former bandmates to work with The Saturdays.

In 2014 he came out publically in Attitude magazine after being outed against his will by another news outlet. He said: ““When I saw that front page – “says gay ex-popstar” – that was a bit of a wake-up call. I’ve never really seen that sentence on something I’m reading that everyone else in the country is reading.”
