Stunning Wedding Photos

Your wedding day is supposed to be your day – your big day. However, having a ho-hum stack of wedding photos with smiles, the dress on display, and the groom kissing the bride can make it difficult to remember the more stunning things.
One such idea for a stunning photo is one of an impromptu face. The bride is frowning and glaring off to the side in this example. It appears that a guest made a comment that she heard or something happened in the audience and she might be trying not to laugh. Whatever happened, the photograph captures a moment that may otherwise have gone unremembered.
For a more goofy photo, get some odd props. This couple got creative and used sparkly yellow bows and goofy glasses. The bride is holding her bouquet, and they have struck disco poses. The background is like that of high school photos, but the couple doesn’t care. They’re smiling and are incredibly happy.
Another goofy photo option is to go to the zoo. While this may sound odd, it’s a little funny. The example photograph shows a lion licking his lips while the happy couple gets photographed. The couple doesn’t even notice, and if you look over the groom’s shoulder – you can see visitors looking at the lion. Wonder what the aftermath was…
For a heartfelt picture, grab a candid shot of the bride hugging her dad. This is often one of the most heartfelt moments during a wedding – when the bride’s father realizes that his little girl is all grown up and getting ready to start her own family. The example photograph has little light in the background, but the bride and her father are clearly visible. The expression on her father’s face is heart melting and you can clearly tell that he loves his daughter and is happy for her.
A unique wedding photo for those getting hitched on the beach is one of sand prints of the left hand of the bride and groom, with the rings on the ring fingers. This unique idea can show the difference between the size of the hands of the couple, but it is also a different way to show the rings off. If it’s high tide, this picture has to be taken quickly.
For digital savvy photographers, play with the perspective. You can do a lot with this kind of photo, and this is just the beginning.
This may sound a little stereotypical, have the bridesmaids peek around the corner when the couple kisses. It’s cute, and it makes for one heck of a photo. The bridesmaids all look surprised and a little grossed out, but the idea is that they’re still getting used to the idea of their friend having a husband now.
