After the launch of the new models of the Samsung smart phone family, it is now the turn of a new member. The all new Galaxy S7 is set to succeed the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy edge plus. Following some reports, it is found that the Galaxy S7 is to have the Android Marshmallow and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 for its running. In an event, Samsung launched the very much awaited and longed models of Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge plus and the audience and the customers had to react as required to the previous devices of the company namely the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 edge.

To a positive attribute for the company, the Galaxy S6 had won the award of being the top and best new device that came to the world at the Mobile World Congress. Samsung has more aspirations and hopes of achieving more of these by making and manufacturing better, advanced and upgraded types of the devices and at the same time manages to maintain and secure its name and reputation and also its affinity towards having the metallic and glass designs on the phones.

Samsung is believed to be concentrating on its latest phablets now but there are rumors about the company shifting its focus towards its next flagship model of Galaxy S7. It is hence expected that the company might launch the phone earlier than the dates but there are a lot of factors to be fulfilled before that and that is a challenge.

Coded names for the phone- According to some new news flowing in, it is known that Samsung has named the Galaxy S7 a code name of “Jungfrau” and reportedly the company is in the process of ‘middle testing’ the device and is confirmed that the phone will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. This also clarified the fact that the Galaxy S7 will run on the latest version of Android operating system but the yet to release Android Marshmallow. The company confirmed of its running on the Android M v5.2 too.

Following some of the recent news and rumors, it is found that the phone will have an outer body made of a new alloy of magnesium which will have the following advantages.

  • Lighter body as compared to the other phones
  • Tougher outer make
  • Shinier and glossy look to enhance the style

Body of the S7- With the new metallic alloy in the outer body, it will be a phone to hold and flaunt well enough and for this reason it has been made accordingly. The outer body of the Galaxy S7 has curves at the rear end side which can make it easy to hold and handy.

Memory and Space in the Galaxy- To add more points in its pockets reports from the company reveal that the Galaxy S7 will have a 6GB RAM and options for internal space. The options for the space will range from 32GB, 64GB to 128GB. With such huge space made available, it is believed that it will help do all the work of a computer in it. The all new Galaxy S7 is believed to hit the markets in the month of August 2016 and to set new goals for the company.
