Dutch architect Raimond de Hullu wants to change your way of life. Tired of the eco-unfriendly world, de Hullu has set his sights on returning humans to the forest, where they can live in green houses perched in the treetops.
Hullu is the man behind the design team OAS1S, which created a house that is completely self-sustaining. It runs off the grid by using the water and waste treatments made popular by green-friendly building pioneers. It takes the concept up a step by adding recycled wood, non-toxic and organic insulation and an ethic that demands nothing is wasted. While this may not sound revolutionary, what sets de Hullu apart from other green builders is where his houses are located.
