6. Superman v. Vampires
Because superheroes have infinite lifespans, the comic book companies must continue to come up with unique stories to keep them fresh. From 1954 to 1971, the comics code prohibited stories invoking horror. Once the ban was stopped, Superman incorporated vampire and warewolves stories. In addition to Superman’s weakness against kryptonite, he is susceptible to the supernatural. Jack Kirby incorporated a Count Dracula character, known as Count Dragoin, into the story. Dracula himself later makes an appearance.
