Friedensreich Hundertwasser was an Austrian architect and artist who spend his life championing the curve of organic nature against the straight line. Starting with the 70s, all his masterpieces were ergonomically curved and ecologically integrated with natural features of the landscape. These buildings can be considered masterpieces of the Austrian architect and they are certainly an attraction that must be visited. This masterpiece is a colorful apartment building situated near Vienna’s center in the Landstraße district. Each of its 52 apartments features a different color and it has several trees covering the roofs. Other trees are growing inside other buildings and their limbs are sticking out the window. The construction of the Hundertwasserhaus has ended in 1985. This apartment building is an intrinsic part of this city’s cultural heritage.

Green Citadel is situated in the center of Magdeburg since 2005. This beautiful building was the last project of Hundertwasser. When he accepted this project, he was asked to change an ordinary house of East German style, but he had another great idea and decided to build a completely new building. Green Citadel is a hotel with 42 rooms and all of these rooms are differently designed. It features shops, a theater and a kindergarten. The name of this building comes due to the several trees that grow in the yards, on the roof and on the floors.

This beautiful tower has a height of 35 meters and it is an observation tower, placed on the grounds of the Kuchlbauer Brewery in Abensber, a beautiful town in Lower Bavaria in Germany. Unfortunately, Friedensreich Hundertwasser died in 2000, while he was in the planning phase of the structure. The construction of this tower was completed under the command of architect Peter Pelikan and Leonhard Salleck, the owner of the brewery.
