Busy women often need to get changed out of outfits while heading from one activity to another. Always on the go, these women are forced to find various discrete places to change out in public, but quite often these places come with various inconveniences. The backseat of a car is pretty uncomfortable, public restrooms are dirty, changing rooms come with long queues and so on.
The Undress came to solve these troubles. The product looks like a long dress with a halter top and long skirt and is designed by Dennis Caco and April Estrada, two Californian entrepreneurs who organize sports events for charity in their home city of San Diego.
According to the creators, the dress was well thought out to the smallest detail to meet the needs of any woman who has to be in several places in one single day. With The Undress, runners, swimmers, surfers, cross-trainers, mums, travelers and other busy women can live their active lifestyle more convenient than ever.
Although it looks as a fancy maxi dress, The Undress has a variety of unsuspected features and benefits. It is designed with two side access openings, a slip-under front panel, drawstring, front inner lining, and other special features that make the transition of changing without anyone catching a glimpse of what lies underneath.
The Undress is expected to cost $75 (£45) when it goes on sale later this year.
The Kickstarter campaign run by the team behind this innovative apparel invention proved to be an incredible success. From the goal of $22,000, The Undress has raised more than half a million dollars, which make it the most successful dress product in the Kickstarter history.
