Here are our suggestions for paleo snacks:
1. Grilled Peaches and Prosciutto
- Ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- Slices of prosciutto
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. honey
- Basil leaves
- Salt and pepper
Grill the peaches, simmer the vinegar and honey until a smooth sauce is formed and assemble your paleo snacks.
2. Oven Roasted Tomatoes
Ingredients you need:
- Mixed tomatoes, sliced
- 3 tbsp. extra -virgin olive oil
- ½ tbsp. dried oregano
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 325 F. Place tomatoes on a baking pan, add the vinaigrette ( the rest of the ingredients, mixed) and bake for an hour.
3.Baked Apple Chips
- 2-3 apples
Preheat oven to 220 F. Cut the apples into thin slices and place them on baking sheets. Sprinke with cinnamon. Let dry for an hour, flip on the other side and to the same for another hour.
