Paleo diet is short for Paleolithic diet, and is, supossedly the best diet we could keep as it means we only ingest food that our bodies were made for and adapted to, during the caveman era. Some people even call the Paleo diet the healthiest way of living and claim the benefits of adopting it are impressive for our bodies. Considering the fact that nowadays each type of diet claims to be the best and living healthy is becoming more and more of a focus for us, what really makes the Paleo diet better or even special?

Since most of the modern-day diseases are caused by stress and heavily processed food, specialists in nutrition claim that the Paleo diet could help anyone lead a better life. The benefits of eating Paleo are:

- Improves blood lipides
- Clears skin
- Better teeth
- Reduced allergies
- Reduces the risk of most chronic degenerative diseases
- But what exactly does adopting the Paleo diet entail? It basically means that we should only eat food that was around for cavemen to eat in the Paleolithic era, in other words eliminating all processed foods. In the Paleo diet you should eat :
- Lean meats
- Nuts and seeds
- Healthy fats
- Herbs and spices
- Tubers ( potatoes, sweet potatoes and so on)
- Processed foods and sugar
