Today we came across this wonderful and colorful chandelier presented at the Milan Design Week 2014. Here’s this original piece which completely transformed the way we regarded a chandelier and pushed us to the future.
The colorful chandelier is named Symphony Lamp Chandelier and represented one of Russia’s main attractions at the Milan Design Week. The wonderful chandelier is the creation of Russian designers Anna Strupinskaya and Alexey Ivashkevich. It is an original concept which has the role to explore the unseen connection between light and sound waves. In this project light, color and sound are visualized and encompassed in three spatial ribbons.
We just love the visual and musical way those translucent silicone rows are embedded together in a combined perception of music and light. The two designers started their collaboration which includes product design and light design about 10 years ago, being based in Moscow.
Light, color, music and passion, these are the words to describe the project of the two Russian designers. The colorful chandelier can be integrated in any room of your home, but we recommend the living room which is usually the most spacious one. In order to admire and enjoy this creative object you need to spare some space.
Colorful chandelier is recommended especially for those of you who have a minimalist approach of their interior design. In a more classical or traditional home, this lighting object would become a bit too much to deal with. The chandelier must be placed in the central area of the room as it is a piece which comes with a need to be admired. It is a Russian work of art which can find its way into your home really easily.
How about you? Would you feel comfortable with such a lighting object in your own home? Where would you place it?
