Do you know that weird moment when you find yourself face to face with a revelation while simply admiring a picture? Sometimes you get that feeling with portraits, sometimes with nature pictures and sometimes with amazing skyline photos.
Well, we simply opened Huffington Post this morning and we came across these wonderful pictures of a fairytale waterfall in Romania, and we got the same reaction as the guys from Huffington: “This can’t be real!”
Actually this isn’t a creative work of art designed in Photoshop or other editing program, but a real, natural waterfall located in the Anina Mountains, in the western part of Romania. The Bigar Waterfall or if we want to stick to its original name, Izvorul Bigăr, simply looks like a romantic view taken right out from a fairytale book. We can even picture a “The Little Mermaid” scene there, at the fairytale waterfall, Ariel kissing her prince. It would look amazing, wouldn’t it?
We simply fell in love with this fairytale waterfall as an underground spring and a moss-covered cliff combine together to create this amazing wonder. It seems that this waterfall has found its way on many lists with wonderful places around the world and you simply need to gaze at the pictures here to understand why. Silence, water, green and a forest combine to create one of the most appreciated and amazing places in the world, perfect for anyone who truly respects and appreciates nature.
Just imagine this slice of nature as the perfect settlement for a picnic with the family or for a simple and quiet afternoon on your own when you could simply stay and gaze at the clouds in the sky or at the drops of water here at the fairytale waterfall. Isn’t it simply breathtaking and worth seeing?
