All of us view time in different ways. For some, time is a prison guard that keeps us in a cage and barely lets us do what we actually want. Others see time as something fluid, a guide that merely helps us choose a way in life. Be it a motivator or a suggestion, a blessing or a curse, the passing of time is marked by all of us. Until now, clocks did nothing more than show us how much time passed. The Perspective Series from Studio Ve helps us decorate our walls with clocks that relate to the way we see “life and time.”
The Perspective Series is made of five beautiful clocks. Each one has a black backdrop and unique hands crafted according to different perspectives over the passing of time. The series started with only two clocks that achieved success. Now, it has been expanded and might continue to grow.
Each clock is crafted with a minimalist design in mind. The differences between the hands of the clock change the character of each design. All in all, the hands are made to portray a different ending. The designers wished to convey the way people handle issues they encounter in their everyday lives.
As mentioned before, each clock portrays different perspectives. The D Clock means to show that, depending on your point of view, objects look different. If you stand directly in front of this clock you will see straight lines. From the side, complex shapes will appear.
The K Clock is the second in the Perspective Series. Its simple lines overlap and converge, creating mesmerizing patterns. The P Clock shows time as a complex three dimensional composition that bursts from its center. Using vanishing points, the V Clock makes its user focus on two focal points: hours and minutes.
Last, the Z Clock is the wanderer. Its lines roam across the backdrop of the clock and display amazing compositions. Would you buy one of the Perspective Series clocks?
