‘A future urban Transportation for a cleaner environment’ would sound lovely for a research campaign, regarding any energy efficient or emission-free projects. When we associate the term ‘future’ with ‘transportation’, what comes to our minds is how to build one that doesn’t consumes more conventional energy than we can produce. We also want to emerge to a more ‘greener’ society and leave opportunities to the younger generations.
In the previous post we have presented to you a concept designed magnetic car of 2100. This next concept car works somewhere in the same area and is predicted to come out the next seven to ten years. Designed by indian Nanish K R, this urban minibus is conducted to work on electromagnetic wheels, charged by a pack of Lithium-ion batteries. As such, it’s emission-free and a friendly transportation ‘bug’ for the community. Nanish K R predicted that this concept car would be a viable solution for the youth, to serve as transportation for families and kindergartens.
The concept car is built out of polycarbonates and electromagnetic wheels, made out of two sliding rings, each. Its moving mechanisms are based on the Lithium-ion batteries, which create a repulsive force between the electromagnet and the permanent magnet. The interesting part doesn’t stop here. This future urban transportation solution has a breaking system consisted out of two opposite magnetic polls. When the driver hits the breaks, these polls are powered and thus reducing the car’s speed to a stop. The inherent transparency given by the polycarbonates offer a wide view of the outdoors, when driving or enjoying the ride. Nanish K R envisioned an all-controller touch-screen in the dashboard, given the driver full access to all functionalities of the minibus, such as LED lamps and rear view cameras.
This concept car looks promising as a future urban Transportation solution for the modern age, while industrialization is dangerously increasing. It’s in every community’s interest to promote such projects and support them as much as possible. How much do you fancy this concept vehicle?
