Photographer’s Description [Trey Ratcliff]: As far as the camera settings, this is the kind of shot you can get with something called “compression,” a method where you use a zoom lens and zoom in quite far. It takes images in the distance and makes them larger than life.
The location of this shot is on Highway 63 between Murchison and Saint Arnaud. On the left is Lake Station airfield. This is in the Nelson Lakes area of South Island, New Zealand. More credit to Kiwinz for the exact location and details.
